Security and privacy

What the product does today to keep your business’s information apart, protected and deletable. It describes the product as it is built today, not a promise about a future one.

Your records are kept apart

Your business’s calls, messages, settings and team are stored apart from every other business’s. Every request the app makes is limited by the database itself to one business’s rows.

Connected accounts

When you connect an account, such as Google Calendar, the sign-in credentials we receive are stored encrypted, each tied to your business and to the service it belongs to.

Recording

Calls are transcribed, and audio is not kept.

Planned

Call recording

Recording is Planned. It will be offered once recordings have a place of their own to be stored.

When recording is available

Recording is off unless you turn it on. When it’s on, your receptionist says “This call is recorded.” at the start of every call.

How long we keep things, and you choose

Every night, what has reached the end of its time is deleted. You choose the time under Keeping call details in the app.

  • Call details, such as the transcript and the caller’s name, number and details: 30, 90, 180 or 365 days. It starts at 365.
  • When recording is available, recordings: 7, 14 or 30 days. It starts at 30.

The date, the outcome and the length of a call stay, so your counts don’t change. Our backups keep deleted data for up to about three months, then it is gone. What we keep, and for how long has the rest.

Download all your data

The owner can download everything we hold about the business as one ZIP file: open Settings, then Download your data.

Delete

  • One call: open it in Inbox and choose Delete this call.
  • Your business: the owner opens Settings, then Delete business.
  • Your account: open Settings, then your email (or Account) under Plan and account, then Delete account.

Delete your account says what each one erases and what is kept.
